A collaborative effort between Partner&Prosper and five local member-based associations in related industries

We recognised the need for smaller volunteer-based association chapters to join forces and provide more value to their members. These collaborative events allow their membership bases to meet, network and learn more about pressing topics across a variety of industries. Our associations share many similarities, allowing members to attend events in the series hosted by some of the other associations and still takeaway knowledge to improve their skillsets and day-to-day work.

However, you don’t need to be a member of one of these organisations to attend! Come anyway, meet the diverse range of professionals attending the sessions and you may find yourself drawn to signing up to one of the participating associations!

What can you expect from the Perth Professionals Series?

Not your typical CPD events! Sessions will be between 2 - 3 hours in length, revolving around a central series theme. Each session will be organised collaboratively between associations, and have it’s own sub-theme, ensuring the central theme is explored from different points of view. Sessions vary in formats, some being in-person, some virtually and some on-site. Some may include panel sessions, debates, site-visits or be more interactive. You are not obligated to attend every session in the series. Although we’d love to have you at all of them, you can pick and choose the ones you feel will provide you the most value. A small cost will be associated with each event to ensure we can provide catering and drinks for those events that require them.

As an example of what you can expect, in 2022, we took our professionals to the flashy new Mineral Resources Office for a sundowner, presentation and site tour. We learned about their tech systems implementation journey, went for a tour to explore all the unique aspects of the building and closed off with canapes and drinks. From mitigating fraud risks to managing change with agility, and optimising project management processes, we will provide valuable best practices, real-world case studies, and actionable insights.

Join us as we explore these crucial themes, equipping professionals across industries with the tools to navigate uncertainties, drive successful initiatives, and cultivate a culture of trust and collaboration in 2024 and beyond.
